I Made It!

Guess what?! I made it safely, which is surprising because the guy who was driving the van back to the CCM went like 80 mph (or km per hr) I do not know. Speed limits do not exist here. We also passed a policeman who was sleeping in his car on the side of the road. Haha! I am so happy to be here and I just got my nametag!! Tell everyone I love them!! The MTC is really pretty, it is 70 degrees here...PARADISE!! Anyway, my P-day will be on Thursday so expect an email NEXT Thursday!! BYE!!!

The Time Has Come!

The long awaited day has finally come.  Carlie has talked about and prepared for a mission for many years.  Her setting apart last night was such a sweet experience for our family and one that will never be forgotten. In the blessing we were reminded that Carlie not only came to our family to be a leader and example for her siblings but also to assist her parents in raising a righteous posterity.  What a TREMENDOUS blessing!

We arrived at the airport this morning 2 hours before her flight departed.  After visiting and talking for a while she was anxious and ready to make her way through the security checkpoint and be on her way.  We gave our final hugs and wished her well, the time had finally come and she was off!

A hug that will not happen again for another 3 years.  Precious!
 Killing time.....more like killing Carlie.
She was ready to go!
There is absolutely no doubt that God will watch over
 and protect his beloved daughter
as she fulfills the call to serve.
We love you Hermana Eaves!
