The Time Has Come!

The long awaited day has finally come.  Carlie has talked about and prepared for a mission for many years.  Her setting apart last night was such a sweet experience for our family and one that will never be forgotten. In the blessing we were reminded that Carlie not only came to our family to be a leader and example for her siblings but also to assist her parents in raising a righteous posterity.  What a TREMENDOUS blessing!

We arrived at the airport this morning 2 hours before her flight departed.  After visiting and talking for a while she was anxious and ready to make her way through the security checkpoint and be on her way.  We gave our final hugs and wished her well, the time had finally come and she was off!

 A hug that will not happen again for another 3 years.  Precious!

 and protect his beloved daughter
as she fulfills the call to serve.
